Humble

Those who walk in pride he is able to humble. Daniel 4:37

If we all look really deep inside ourselves we will find the truth. We did not choose our hair color or our talents. Everything is a gift. For example I use to have this amazing singing ability and man oh man did I sing! Well life kindof went down hill for me and my walk with God and guess what that gift he gave me was taken away for awhile but happy to say that it has returned and I am singing for him now and forever! Wake up each morning telling yourself that today is a gift and you are too! This will hopefully keep you humble and it will open God's arms to you.

There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friend. John 15:13

We are His friends when we do what he commands! We are to love each other as he loved us!!! Very hard to do at times but we got to try!!

Submit to your spouse!

Today in church we talked about Ephesians 5:21-34. Many of you have read this tons of times but he put a new look on it this morning! I love it. This passage is all about how men and women should submit to their husbands. We all know that we should do this but it's tough at times. But look around you, look at these kids that are growing up and they are horrible! Just think that if the man loved his wife as much as Christ loved the Christ, and if the woman would submit everything to her husband how much better our kids would turn out! If mom and dad are good than the kids are good!!!

Submit to your spouse!! Love them inside and out!!

Unfailing love

Psalm 148:8 Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I giveself to you.

Sometimes I have to tell myself daily of his love for me. When the world gets me down I just have to remember that love he has for me! We have to fully give ourselves to him so that he may give us and direct us!!

Not by sight!

We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

Faith looks not for the longest physical life possible but for the most fruitful life possible.  Faith understands that God's wisdom often appears absolutely senseless to those with worldly sense.  If you succeed in the eyes of man, you fail in the eyes of the Lord.

Remember!

As iron sharpens iron,so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17

I have to remind myself of this verse often. We have to always be building each other up not putting one another down. Help your friend out!
