This morning I learned a very important lesson... "Don't just sit down with the Bible...Devour it!!"
3 Things to remember
1. Illumination- The Bible making sense. Vs-1 Cor 2:9-10
Outside of Jesus Christ it is hard to read and understand Bible.
2. Revelation- Seeing the reality of the scriptures in your every day life.
Vs. 1 Peter 1:20-21
3. Application- Vs. Hebrews 4:12
Jeremiah 15:16---- Don't just read the Bible..eat it! Feed yourself!
Many of us get our feedings on Sunday and then the rest of the week we are starving for more...WHY? We have the tools in our own hands...READ his word..DEVOUR IT!
