Love is not an emotion..its a decision

Today our Sunday School teacher told us what marriage was.  And it got me thinking that love is not an emotion it is a decision.  When our husband messes up and we just to slap him, we don't just jump up and leave him.  We might be mad but we tough it out because we made a commitment.  We decided that we would love each other forever.  Emotions are conditional but love based on a decision is unconditional.   So many people want the butterflies and the romance that you first get when meeting...well sorry sweetie you won't always get that there will be rough times and sad times that will bring your marriage down.  But we have to make the decision to fix it!  Do something for your spouse!
