Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
Man oh man, when it comes to the heart I am in trouble. I know that I need to guard my heart and that I need to be careful about what I let in. But sometimes these earthly things just call me and I just soak them up and let them in my heart. Then because I let this thing in I start to make bad decisions.
I make decisions at times based on feelings and then rationalize them but I need to make a decisions based on rationality and then let the feelings fall in behind. I am turning over a new leaf....I will not let my emotions define me, because that is a very dangerous way to live.
